** Release Date: 7/20/92 Version: AP-File v1b Author: Lee Herron **
Plain and simply, this is a utility for sysops who use various forms of re-
archivers/scanners then move the file from thier inbound directory to another
"post scanned" directory. If your using a BBS software that utilizes the
FILES.BBS format files list and want to keep your "inbound" files.bbs up to
date (as far as the files that were received and move) this is for you.
AP-FILE takes command line input for the paths to your inbound files.bbs
list and the list you want appended to, then it takes all file names with
descriptions and appends them to the "moved to" files.bbs, after that it
creates a zero byte files.bbs so your BBS won't report FILES.BBS missing.
AP-FILE can optionally convert the extension of the file listing on the
inbound files.bbs to a default archive extension, simply add the 3 letter
extension name ie: ARJ. ALL filenames transfered to the "scanned" Files.bbs
will be converted to this new default extension.
Meant to be used in batch maintainance.
Syntax: APFILE [path to input file] [path to output file]
Example: APFILE d:\inbound d:\newin arj
NightFlight BBS Sysop: D. Duright 16.8 HST/DS 1:3612/130@fidonet.org
